Los Gatos seniors Joey Monti and Matt Monti helped the Wildcats capture their first CIF Central Coast Section boys team title with 83 points at Gilroy High in Gilroy, Calif. Joey Monti won the 300-meter hurdles in 38.09 seconds and anchored the victorious 4x400-meter relay in 3:20.86, along with taking second in the 400 meters in 49.14 seconds. Matt Monti won the shot put with a mark of 53-3.25 (16.23m) and placed seventh in the discus with a throw of 143-6 (43.73m).
